Ingredients
- Mackerel – 5nos
- Mango – 1 nos
- Green chilli- 2 nos
- Ginger -1nos
- Garlic -10-12 nos
- Shallot – 50g
- Curry leaves
- Grated coconut – 100g
- Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder-1 tbsp
- Fenugreek- 1/2 tsp
Method
- Wash the fish and set it aside
- Peel shallots, ginger and garlic and keep it aside
- Peel mango and keep it aside
- Wash the peeled shallots , garlic , ginger , green chillies and mango
- Then cut the ginger in to tiny pieces
- Cut garlic in to 2 pieces and cut the green chilli and
cut mango in to thin pieces - Grate coconut
- Then add shallots , turmeric powder and red chilli powder to it
- Grind this well in a grinding stone and keep it aside
- Then heat oil in a pan and add fenugreek seeds
- Then add ginger garlic and green chilies
- Saute this well and add curry leaves
- Then add some red chili powder and turmeric powder and saute it well
- Then add some water and mix it well
- When it boils put all the fish in to it and let it boil again
- Then add the coconut paste to it and the sliced mango and some curry leaves to it
- Check whether the fish is cooked well
- Once the ayala mango curry is ready
- Remove from fire and set it aside
- Serve the tasty ayala mango curry
