Bilimbi fruit pickle

Ingredients

  • Bilimbi fruit – 1 kg.
  • Garlic – 3 nos.
  • Hing – 2 pieces.
  • Fenugreek powder – 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Salt.
  • Oil.
  • Mustard.
  • Curry leaves.

Method

  • Cut the fruit into small pieces.
  • Heat oil in a pot, splutter mustard.
  • Saute in garlic, hing, curry leaves.
  • When garlic is cooked saute in chili powder, fenugreek powder.
  • Mix bilimbi into the mix. Make sure the fruit is completely coated with the chili powder mix.
  • Remove from the flame.
  • Pickle is ready.
