Ingredients
- Jaggery -200g
- cashewnuts -100g
- flattened rice -500g
- grated coconut -150g
- cardamom powder – 2 tsp
Method
- Today we’re going to make Kerala-style aval laddu.
- For that, first, grate some jaggery and keep it aside.
- Then, heat a pan on the stove and add cashew nuts, roast them, remove them from the pan, and keep them aside.
- Then add the flattened rice or aval to the pan and roast it, then remove it from the fire and keep it aside.
- Now grind the roasted cashews on a grinding stone and keep it aside.
- Then grind the flattened rice on the grinding stone and keep it aside.
- Then grind the grated coconut and grated jaggery together in the grinding stone and keep it aside.
- Then grind the cardamom and keep it aside.
- Now keep the flattened rice powder in a bowl, add the cashew powder, and add the coconut jaggery mixture to it.
- Add the cardamom powder and mix thoroughly with your hands.
- Then make a small ball-shaped laddu out of the mixture.
- Kerala-style aval laddu or poha laddu is ready.
