Ingredients
- Beef – 2 kg.
- Ginger – 2 pieces.
- Garlic – 3 nos.
- Shallots – as required.
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon.
- Pepper powder – 2 teaspoons.
- Coriander powder – 4 teaspoons.
- Chili powder – 4 teaspoons.
- Garam masala powder – 1/2 teaspoon.
- Green chilies – 3 nos.
- Garam masala (whole spices).
- Curry leaves.
- Salt.
- Oil.
- Mustard.
Method
- Make a paste of whole garam masala in a stone grinder. Crush pepper and keep aside.
- Marinate beef with turmeric powder (1/2 teaspoon), chili powder (2 teaspoons), coriander powder (2 teaspoons), pepper powder (1 teaspoon), ground garam masala ( 1 teaspoon), and finely chopped ginger, garlic, green chilies, and salt. Cook the marinated beef till done.
- Heat oil in a pot, splutter mustard. Saute chopped shallots, ginger, garlic, and curry leaves. Add chili powder (2 teaspoons), coriander powder ( 2 teaspoons), pepper powder (1 teaspoon), and garam masala mix. Season with salt. Add the cooked beef and mix well.
- Remove from flame. Spicy beef pepper roast is ready.
