Ingredients
- King fish – 1kg
- Shallots – 7 to 8 nos
- Green chilli – 3 or 4 nos
- Ginger – 1 nos
- Garlic – 5 or 6 nos
- Curry leaves – 2 or 3 sprigs
- Tomatoes – 2 nos
- Grated coconut – 2 cup full
- Red chilli powder – 2 tbsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
- Dry red chilli – 3 or 4 nos
- Fenugreek seed – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1 or 2 tsp
- Oil – 2 to 3 tbsp
Method
- Take a bowl add one cup of grated coconut and water .
- Squeeze them thoroughly, then drain the thick coconut milk and set aside.
- Again, we have used squeezed, grated coconut and water.
- Mix them well, drain the thin coconut milk, and set aside.
- Take a plate and add grated coconut,ginger,garlic, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and turmeric powder,set aside.
- Then we have to grind the masala like grated coconut, red chillies, turmeric powder mix, etc., into a smooth paste.
- Take a pan , add the grinded coconut masala.
- Then add thin coconut milk and mix them well.
- Add green chilli ,curry leaves ,tomatoes and salt ,mix them well.
- Then place the masala pan on the heat.
- Cover and boil them well.
- Remove the lid and check whether the masala is well boiled or not.
- Then add kingfish and mix them well.
- Cover and cook till the fish become well cooked .
- Then add thick coconut milk and mix them well.
- Remove from fire and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan ,add mustard seed ,let them spluttered
- Add dry red chilli ,fenugreek seed and shallots.
- saute and fry them well.
- Remove from fire and pour the fried mixture into the fish curry pan and mix them well.
- Serve the tasty King fish curry with boiled tapioca.
