Kerala Jackfruit With Chicken Curry

Jackfruit and chicken curry
Ingredients
Unripe jackfruit – medium size, cleaned, pitted and roughly chopped
Grated coconut – 1cup
Cumin seeds  – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Garlic – 2 – 3 small
Green chillies – 2 – 3
Curry leaves – 1 – 2 sprigs
Salt – To taste

Method

 First we cooked the chopped jackfruit with enough water, Cover and cook until done, stirring in between.
 Grind the grated coconut, turmeric powder, green chillies, garlic ,cumin seeds and salt to a fine mixture.
 When the jackfruit is done, add the ground coconut mixture and let it cook for a few minutes.
 Switch off the flame and serve

Chicken Curry Recipe 
Ingredients

Chicken-1 kg
Onion -2 medium
Small onion -5 or 6
Green chilli-3
Dry red chilli-4 or 5
Ginger garlic paste-2 tbsp
Mustard seed-small amount
Coconut pieces -1/2 cup
turmeric powder- ½ tsp
chilli powder-2 tbdp
coriander powder-3 tsp
garam masala -2 tbsp
salt-1 tsp
oil

Method

 first we cut and clean the chicken
 take a pan add oil,once oil is heated add mustard seed,
 Add sliced small onion and saute them for few minutes
 Then we add slit dry red chillies and coconut pieces, stir well
 Add sliced onions and saute them for few minutes till golden brown
 Ones it is ready then we add the powders like red chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder,
mix well and cook for few
 Add gingergarlic paste, saute well
 Again we add the chicken pieces into the pan and mix well
 Finally we add garam masala water mixing paste into it, mix it well
 Boil the chicken till the gravy is up to the consistency desired.
 Switch off the flame and Serve it with chappathi or any sort of rice variants
