Ingredients
- Crab – 1 kg
- Onion – 4 nos
- Ginger – 1 nos
- Garlic – 10 to 12 nos
- Tomatoes – 2 nos
- Curry leaves – 3 to 4 sprigs
- Grated coconut – 1 cup
- Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
- Garam masala – 1 tbsp
- Mustard seed – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Oil – 2 to 3 tbsp
Method
- In a pan, heat the oil and add the mustard seeds, allowing them to sputter.
- Then add curry leaves and saute them well. Then add the crushed ginger and garlic mix.
- Saute them well for a few seconds.
- Add the chopped onions and green chilies and sauté them well.
- Sprinkle with salt and saute the onions until translucent.
- Then add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala.
- Saute them well until they become transulant.
- Then add the chopped tomatoes and saute them well.
- Then add a sufficient amount of water and mix them well.
- Cover and boil them well.
- Remove the lid and add the cleaned crab; mix them well.
- Cover and cook them well.
- Take a bowl, add grated coconut and water.
- Squeeze them well with your fingers.
- Drain the coconut extract and set it aside.
- Remove the lid from the cooking pan and mix them well.
- Then add coconut milk and mix them well.
- Finally, add some garam masala and curry leaves.
- Mix and cook for a few minutes.
- Take the pan off the heat and set it aside.
- Serve the tasty crab curry with boiled tapioca.
