Ingredients
- Long beans – 1/4kg
- Coconut- 50g
- Red cow peas – 20g
- Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
- Cococnut oil – 3 tbsp
- Salt – 2 tsp
- Green chilies – 6 nos
- Shallots – 10 to 12 nos
- Curry leaves
- Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Method
- Today we’re going to prepare tasty kerala style long beans stirfry
- For that first take a piece of coconut and slice some pieces from the coconut and wash it
- Then cut that slices in to small pieces and keep it aside
- Now take some red cow peas
- And add some turmeric powder and salt to it
- Then add 1 bowl of water and mix it
- Then keep it in the stove and add the coconut pieces
- Then close the pan and let it cook
- By that time wash and cut the long beans in to small pieces and keep it aside
- Then take some green chilies and wash it
- Then peel shallots and wash it
- Then chop all the shallots and green chillies
- Now check whether the red cow peas are cooked or not
- If it’s cooked then add the long beans to it and mix well
- Then close the pan again and let it cook for some more time
- Then remove from fire
- Now heat oil in another pan and add shallots , green chilies ,curry leaves and salt , then saute it well
- Then add red chilli powder and turmeric powder, mix it well
- Then add the cooked long beans and red cow peas
- Then let it get fried for some more time
- Now remove from fire and keep aside
- Tasty kerala style long beans stir fry is ready to serve
