*Banana stem – 2 big piece.
*Shallots – 10 nos.
*Grated coconut – 1 cup.
*Turmeric powder-1 tablespoon.
*Cumin – 1 tablespoon.
*Green chilies -3 nos.
*Garlic -4 – 5 cloves.
*Mustard -1 tablespoon.
*Curry leaves – 2 stems.
*Salt – as required.
Method
1 Chop banana stem and mix it with coconut oil.
2 Make a paste of coconut, cumin, turmeric powder, green chilies, and garlic.
3 Keep an uruli on the flame and heat oil, splutter mustard. Saute in shallots and curry leaves.
4 Saute in the chopped banana stem and mix well.
5 Saute in the prepared coconut paste and adjust salt. cover and cook.
6 Remove from the flame once done.
