Green lentil curry

Ingredients
*Green lentil -500gms.
*Shallots – 10 – 15 nos.
*Green chilies – 1 no.
*Curry leaves – 2 – 3 stems.
*Grated coconut – 1 cup.
*Chili powder – 1 tablespoon.
*Coconut oil – 4 tablespoons.
*Mustard – 1 tablespoon.
*Cumin – 1 tablespoon.
*Dried chilies – 1-2 nos.
*Chili powder – 1 tablespoon.
*Water – 3 cups.
Method
1 Clean green lentil well.
2 Thinly slice shallots.
3 Heat water in a pot.
4 Once the water is boiled add in green lentils, green chili, shallots, and curry leaves.
5 Make a paste of grated coconut, garlic, cumin, dried chilies. Add water to make the paste thin.
6 Add the paste to the cooked green lentil. Remove from the flame once cooked.
7 Heat a pan with oil, splutter mustard. Saute in shallots, curry leaves, and chili powder. Pour it into the green lentil curry.
