Taro root with dry fish

Ingredients
*Dried fish – 2 nos.
*Taro root – 4 – 5 nos.
*Pot tamarind – 5 – 6 nos.
*Green chilies – 3 nos.
*Grated coconut – 1 cup.
*Coconut oil – 4 tablespoons.
*Mustard – 1 tablespoon.
*Curry leaves – 4 stems.
*Chili powder – 2 tablespoons.
*Coriander powder – 1 tablespoon.
*Fenugreek powder – 1/2 tablespoon.
*Garlic – 4 cloves.
*Shallots – 10 – 15 nos.
*Water – 1 cup.
*Salt as required.
Method
1 Soak dried fish in the water.
2 Clean taro roots and cut them into pieces.
3 Clean the soaked dried fish.
4 Put pot tamarind and green chilies in water.
5 Heat a wok, saute grated coconut, chopped shallots, and garlic, curry leaves.
6 Make a fine paste of roasted coconut mix.
7 Heat a pot, heat oil and splutter mustard. Saute in curry leaves, green chilies, chili powder, coriander powder. Saute till raw smell subside.
8 Add taro root in with 1/2 cup water. Add pot tamarind, curry leaves, fenugreek powder, and salt.
9 Add in the dried fish pieces to the above.
10 Mix little water to the roasted coconut paste and add it to the dried fish curry. When the curry comes to boil remove it from the flame.
