Ingredients
- Coconut oil-2tsp
- Bread fruit-2nos
- Curry leaves-3-4 sprigs
- Green chilli-2 nos
- Coconut strips-1/2 cup
- Onion-1 big ,10to 12 small
- Coriander powder-1 1/2 tbsp
- Chilli powder-1tbsp
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
- Garam masala -1tsp
- Salt to taste
Method
- Peel the outer green skin of the bread fruit and cut into pieces .discard the central core and
cut into small even pieces and wash and clear them well. - Take a pan and add grated coconut and stir it become golden brown
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seed and then .we will add sauted coconut
pieces,onion,curry leaves for 2to 3 minutes till light golden brown - Lower the flame and add coriander powder,chilli powder ,turmeric powder and add salt to
taste.then we add bread fruit and cook well - Then we grinded the coconut and garam masala
- Finally we add the coconut paste to the cooked bread fruit.mix gently to combine and adjust
salt.serve hot with steamed rice
