Ingredients
- Rice flour-2cup
- Grated coconut -2cup
- Cumin seeds-1/4tsp
- water-1 1/2cup
- sugar – 1 tsp
- salt – 1 or 2 tsp
- ghee – 1 tsp
method
- firstly take a bowl add 1 cup of grated coconut and water mix and squeeze them well,drain and set
aside. - Take a pan add rice flour ,cumin seed,grated coconut mix them well.
- Then add water and make soft dough.
- Then make small balls and set aside.
- Heat water in a steamer and place idli plates .
- Then place banana leaves on the top of the idli plates.
- Then steam the rice balls in a steamer .steam the balls till they are well cooked.
- Then transfer the cooked rice balls into a bowl and add some ghee on the top.
- Take a small bowl add coconut milk and sugar mix them well .then pour the coconut milk into the
rice ball bowl . - Serve and enjoy the maniputtu recipe.
