Breakfast or dinner recipe –Maniputtu

Ingredients

  • Rice flour-2cup
  • Grated coconut -2cup
  • Cumin seeds-1/4tsp
  • water-1 1/2cup
  • sugar – 1 tsp
  • salt – 1 or 2 tsp
  • ghee – 1 tsp

method

  • firstly take a bowl add 1 cup of grated coconut and water mix and squeeze them well,drain and set
    aside.
  • Take a pan add rice flour ,cumin seed,grated coconut mix them well.
  • Then add water and make soft dough.
  • Then make small balls and set aside.
  • Heat water in a steamer and place idli plates .
  • Then place banana leaves on the top of the idli plates.
  • Then steam the rice balls in a steamer .steam the balls till they are well cooked.
  • Then transfer the cooked rice balls into a bowl and add some ghee on the top.
  • Take a small bowl add coconut milk and sugar mix them well .then pour the coconut milk into the
    rice ball bowl .
  • Serve and enjoy the maniputtu recipe.
