Ingredients
- Chicken -1 kg
- Garlic – 13 to 14 nos
- Ginger – 1 nos
- Green chilli -3 to 4 nos
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 12tbsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
- Pepper powder – 1/2 tbsp
- Garam masala – 1 tbsp
- Asafoetida powder – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1 or 2 tsp
- Oil – 1/2 ltr
Method
- In a bowl, add chicken pieces,turmeric powder, and red chilli powder.
- Add coriander powder, pepper powder, garam masala, and salt.
- Mix them well and marinate for half an hour.
- Then chopped the garlic and set it aside.
- Chopped the ginger and set aside.
- Then chopped the green chilli and set it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and add marinated chicken pieces.
- Fry them well till the chicken becomes light golden brown.
- Then add some curry leaves and saute them well.Drain and keep aside.
- Repeat the same process on the other half of the marinated chicken and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan ,add mustard seeds and sprinkle them well.
- Then add dry red chilli and garlic.
- Then add chopped ginger and green chilli and sauté them well.
- Then add curry leaves and sauté and fry them well.
- Then add red chilli powder, coriander powder and pepper powder.
- Then add asafoetida powder and turmeric powder Saute them well.
- Then add salt and set aside.
- Then add vinegar and saute them well.Saute them well for a few seconds.
- Then add the fried chicken and combine them well.
- Cook for a few minutes.Remove from the fire and set aside.
- Serve the tasty chicken pickles with meals.
