Mulake bajji Ingredients
Besan powder-3 tbsp
Rice flour-2 tbsp
Asafoetida-1 tsp
Red chilli powder-1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Water-to mix
Oil-4 to 5 tbsp
Chutney
Shallots-1 nos
Tomato -1 nos
Dry red chilli-4 nos
Curry leaves-2 sprig

Method

Mulake bajji recipe
* First we wash and pat dry the chilies .make a split on each of them
* Then we mix besan powder,rice flour ,asafoetida,red chilli powder,salt
* Add water little by little to form a thick paste
* Dip each chilli in the batter and coat well
* Then drop in the hot oil and cook both side until crisp and golden brown.,
*Drain the excess oil
Chutney recipe
* Take a pan add shallots and pearl onion ,saute for some minutes
* Then we grind the sauted onion ,tomato ,dry red chilli,curry leaves and salt
* Then we transfer grinded paste into a bowl
* Enjoy the kerala style mulake bajji and chutney with hot tea….
