Jackfruit mash with sardine curry

Ingredients

Raw jackfruit.
Grated coconut – 1 no.
Garlic – 1 no.
Green chili – 4 nos.
Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon.
Cumin – 1 teaspoon.
Salt.
Curry leaves.

Method
*Clean, cut the jackfruit and cook in water.
*Roughly ground grated coconut, green chili, garlic, turmeric powder, cumin, curry leaves. Mix the paste into the cooked jackfruit and season salt.

Sardine curry
Ingredients
Sardine – 1 kg.
Ginger – 1 no.
Garlic.
Chili powder – 2 teaspoons.
Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon.
Fenugreek powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Pot tamarind – 6 nos.
Salt.
Oil.
Mustard.
Curry leaves.
Method
*Heat oil in a pot, splutter mustard. Saute in crushed ginger-garlic, green chili, curry leaves.
*Saute in chili powder. When rawness is gone add water. Add in salt, turmeric powder, and fenugreek powder. When the gravy comes to a boil, add the fish. Cover and cook. Remove from the flame once done.
Sardine curry is ready.
