Kerala Style Bird’s Eye Chilli Chicken Fry – Chicken Kanthari Fry

Ingredients

  • Chicken – 1 kg
  • Garlic – 6 to 7 nos
  • Ginger – 1 nos
  • Curd – 1 cup
  • Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  • Garam masala – 1 1/ 2 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder – 1 tbsp
  • Fennel powder – 1 /2 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 or 2 tsp
  • Oil – 1 ltr

Method

  • Firstly,we have to crush the birds eye chilli , salt ,turmeric powder ,garlic and ginger , keep it into a side.
  • Clean and wash the chicken.
  • Drain and keep aside.
  • Take a pan add cleaned chicken pieces ,grounded birds eye mix paste
  • Then add garam masala, black pepper powder and thick curd ,mix them well.
  • Then add fennel powder ,combine them well.
  • Marinated for half an hour .
  • Heat oil in pan ,add marinated chicken pieces .
  • Finally add few curry leaves ,saute them well
  • Fry them well till they become golden brown .
  • Drain and keep aside.
  • Serve the tasty bird’s eye chilli chicken fry with meals
