Kerala Style Tapioca Recipe | Fish Fry

Ingredients

  • Fish -1kg
  • Oil-as u like
  • Marination
  • Garlic- 4 or 5 petals
  • Ginger-small piece
  • Pepper powder-2 table spoon
  • Turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon
  • Chilli powder-1 table spoon
  • Salt -1/2 tsp

Steps For Preparation

  • Clean the fish properly .based on the variety of fish,cut the pieces consequently .make thin
    cuts on both sides of the fish.
  • Make a crush or grind a fine paste of ginger ,garlic, pepper and salt
  •  Then we add turmeric powder and chilli powder to the grinded mixture and mix all
    ingredients properly
  •  Marinated fish with masala .keep it aside for some minutes
  •  Heat oil in a pan .then deep fry or shallow fry it up to you. shallow fry the fish pieces for 4 or
    5 minutes on both sides.fry it with medium flame .serve it with tapioca and enjoy ……

Tapioca Recipe

Ingredients

  • Tapioca
  • Water
  • salt

Method

  • For preparing tapioca first we peel , cut and wash the tapioca
  • Boil water and add the tapioca pieces and salt in it ,
  •  When the tapioca pieces become soft
  •  Drain off the excess water.and serve it with chutney and enjoy kerala traditional food….

Chilli chutney (birds eye chutney)
Ingredients

  • Chilli- 10 0r 11
  • Medium sized shallots-6 or 7
  • Salt –to taste

Method

  •  Crush birds eye chilli.pearl onion
  • Crush birds eye chilli.pearl onion and salt in mixer or ammikallu.
  • Transfer the mixture in a bowl and add coconut oil ,then stir well
  • Then serve with tapioca and fish fry
