Ingredients
* Netholi/ anchovies – 1kg.
* Kudampuli / Gambooge Pot tamarind – 2 nos.
* Dried chilies – 10 nos.
* Ginger – small piece.
* Garlic – 1 piece.
* Pepper – 1 tablespoon.
* Coriander – 2 tablespoons.
* Turmeric powder – 1 tablespoon.
* Coconut oil – 500ml.
* Salt to taste.
Method
1) Clean the fish using salt.
2) Use kudampuli infused water to wash the fish.
3) Wash dried chilies, ginger, garlic, pepper, and coriander.
4) To the above add turmeric, and salt. Make a paste of all.
5) Rub in the masala prepared to the fish.
6) Heat a heavy bottom pan with oil. Fry the fish till crisp.
Spicy Netholi/ anchovies fry is ready. Serve it hot…
