Simple & Easy – Prawns Coconut Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • Ginger – 1 nos
  • Garlic – 7 to 8 nos
  • Grate coconut – 1/2 cup
  • Curry leaves – 2 to 3 sprigs
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala – 1 tbsp
  • Pepper powder – 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 or 2 tsp
  • Oil – 1/2 ltr

Method

  • Firstly, we have to crush the ginger and garlic into a smooth paste and set it aside.
  • Take a bowl and add red chilli powder, garam masala, pepper powder turmeric powder and salt.
  • Then add crushed ginger and garlic paste and combine them well.
  • Sprinkle some water and make a smooth paste.
  • Then add the smooth paste masala to the cleaned prawn pan and combine them well.
  • Cover and marinate for half an hour.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add marinated prawns.
  • Fry them well, drain and set aside.
  • Repeat the same process with balanced marinated prawns.
  • Using the same prawn frying pan as before.
  • Add curry leaves and grated coconut.Saute them well for a few minutes.
  • Add the fried prawns and mix them well.Cook for a few minutes.
  • Remove from fire and set aside.
