Rambutan pickle
- Rambutan – 1kg
- Oil-3tbsp
- Mustard seed-1tsp
- Curry leaves-3 strings
- Chilli powder-2tbsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
- Ginger-small piece
- Garlic-5 or 6 pieces
- Water -½ cup
- Cumin powder-1/2 tsp
- Fenugreek powder-1/2tsp
- Salt –to taste
Method - First we select the riped seed and squeeze to pop out the fruit
- heat oil in a pan add mustard seed once seed spitted
- then we add curry leaves,chillipowder ,turmeric powder,ginger and garlic,mix well.
- Add water and salt to taste and stir well
- When gravy become thick add cumin powder and fenugreek powder,Then we finally add the
rambutan fruit and mix well - Turn off the fire and ,once cool store in a air tight container.
