Ingredients
- Potatoes – 3 nos
- Curry leaves – 1 or 2 sprigs
- Onion – 2 nos
- Hing powder – 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 11/2 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Pepper powder – 1 tsp
- Fennel powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Mustard seed – 1 tsp
- Cumin seed – 1 tsp
- Oil – 1 or 2 tbsp
- Salt – 1 or 2 tsp
Method
- Firstly wash potatoes and peel,then cut it into small cubes and set aside.
- Pour oil in a pan ,when the oil turns hot,add mustard seed , cumin seed and urad dal,let them
spluttered . - Add curry leaves ,hing powder and onion ,saute them well for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Then add potato pieces and salt ,saute and cook for some minutes.
- Sprinkle some curry powders like red chilli powder,coriander powder,pepper powder,fennel powder
and turmeric powder mix them well and cook till the potatoes become fry . - Remove from fire and set aside.
- Serve and enjoy the potato fry with meals
