Soya chunks – 2 cups
Garlic – 8 to 9 nos
Ginger – 1 nos
Green chilli – 2 nos
Curry leaves – 3 to 4 sprigs
Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tbsp
Pepper powder – 1 tbsp
Salt – 1 or 2 tsp
Oil – 2 to 3 tbsp
Heat water and salt in a pan
Add soya to the hot water pan and boil them well.
Take the pan off the heat and set it aside.
Drain the excess water and set it aside.
Then add cold water to the cooked soya.
Drain excess water from the soya and set aside.
The soya chunks should then be cut into small cubes and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add the chopped garlic, ginger and green chilies.
Saute them thoroughly for a few minutes.
Then add chopped onion and saute them well.
Sprinkle some salt on them and sauté them well.
Add some curry leaves and saute them well.
Then add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and turmeric powder.
Pour some lime juice over them and mix them well.
Add some pepper powder and mix them well.
Pour some water over them and thoroughly mix them.
Then add chopped soya chunks,saute them well.
Cook for a few minutes and saute them well.
Remove from fire and set aside.
