Ingredients
- Tomatoes – 4 or 5 nos
- Garlic – 15 to 16 nos
- Shallots – 16 1to 17 1nos
- Dry red chilli – 8 to 9 nos
- Salt – 1 or 2 tsp
- Oil – 4 to 5 tbsp
Method
- Firstly, we have to wash the tomatoes and set them aside.
- Then wash the shallots and set them aside.
- Then wash the peeled garlic and set it aside.
- Then chopped the shallots and set them aside.
- Then cut the garlic into two slits.
- Then cut the tomatoes into two.
- Heat oil in a pan and add dry red chilli.
- Saute and fry them well.
- Drain and keep aside.
- Then add garlic to the hot oil pan.
- Fry them well, drain and keep them aside.
- Then add tomatoes to the hot oil pan.
- Fry both sides, drain and set aside.
- Then peel the outer cover of the fried tomatoes and set them aside.
- Take a bowl and add fried dry red chilli, garlic and salt.
- Mix them well with your hands.
- Add the chopped shallots and mix them well.
- Now add the fried tomatoes and mix them roughly with your hands.
- Then transfer the tomato chutney into another bowl.
- Serve the tasty tomato chutney with meals.
