Upma

Ingredients

  • Semolina/ Rava – 1/2 kg.
  • Onion – 2 nos.
  • Carrot – 3 nos.
  • French Beans – 10 nos.
  • Ginger – 1 pc.
  • Green Chili – 3 nos.
  • Oil.
  • Salt.
  • Mustard.
  • Curry leaves.

Method

  • Chop onion, carrots, beans, ginger, and green chilies finely.
    Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard.
  • Saute in onion, carrot, beans, ginger, green chilies, and curry leaves.
  • Add 2 cups of water and bring it to boil. Season it with salt.
  • To the boiling mixture add semolina/ rava and mix well.
  • Cover and cook for 2 min.
  • Upma ready to serve.
