Ingredients
- Papaya-2 medium
- Green chilli-4 or 5
- Pearl onion-6 or 7 nos
- Curry leaves-3 sprigs
- Mustard seed-1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder-1 bsp
- Salt -2 tbsp
- Oil-4 tbsp
- Water -1 cup
Method
- First we peel the papaya, cut into half, and scoop out the seeds using a knife. and cut it into
a small pieces - Take a pan add papaya ,turmeric powder, salt and water, cover and cook well till the papaya
become soft - Again we grind green chilli and pearl onion into fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pan add mustard seed, Once they start to splutter, reduce to a low flame,
- Add the grinded green chilli and pearl onion ,mix well
- Add curry leaves and salt to taste, saute well and cook for some minutes
- Finally we add cooked papaya into the pan, and cook for some minutes
- Turn off the flame and serve with meals
