Ingredients
- Chicken-1 kg
- Flour-1/2 cup
- Dry red chilli- 5 or 6 nos
- Fennel seed-1 tbsp
- Garlic -7 or 8
- Ginger-1 medium
- Pearl onion-9 or 10
- Green chilli-6 or 7 nos
- Lemon – ½ slice
- Grated coconut-1/2 cup
- Garam masala-1 tbsp
- Pepper powder-1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tbsp
- Oil –for frying
- Salt to taste
Method
- First we wash and clean the chicken and set it a side
- Then we grind the dry red chilli, fennel seed, garlic, ginger and pearl onion into fine paste,
keep it in a side. - Then we take a bowl, mix the flour ,garam masala, pepper powder ,turmeric powder,salt and
lemon juice well - Again we add the chicken pieces into the masala bowl and mix well,keep a side for half an
hour . - Heat oil in a pan add grated coconut and mix and saute till the colour change into golden
brown. - Again we heat oil in a pan add green chilli and curry leaves saute well and keep it in a side
- Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan add marinated chicken pieces , fry well on low flame.
- Once the chicken pieces are fried, add the roasted coconut mix, and fried green chilli to it,
and mix well - Then we serve and enjoy the taste of kerala style tasty chicken fry..
