- Raw Banana – 3 or 4 Nos,
- Powdered Jaggery -2 cup
- Dried ginger powder – 1/2Tablespoon
- Cumin powder – 1/2Teaspoon
- Cardamom powder – 1/2 Teaspoon
- Roasted Rice flour – 1or 2 Tablespoon
- Coconut oil for frying
Method
- First wash and remove the skin of banana, cut each of them lengthwise into half .Then again cut each pieces into
1/2 inch pieces - Heat oil in a pan; Once the oil is hot, add banana slices. and fry it on a medium flame stirring occasionally until the
banana pieces become golden yellow / crisp .Drain it in a tissue paper and keep aside - Then we take a pan add rice powder and stir it well and roasted some time and keep a side
- Now we take a thick bottomed pan, heat jaggery and water till the jaggery melts. Strain into a bowl to remove the
impurities - Take another pan and transfer the strained jaggery syrup and boil again on medium flame, stirring continuously
- Add the cumin powder, cardamom and dried ginger powder mix them well
- When the syrup is in the right consistency lower the heat and add the fried banana pieces. Finally just sprinkle the
rice flour. - Mix well and stir continuously in order to prevent the chips from sticking to each other.
- Remove from the heat and allow to cool completely. Store it in an airtight container.
