Ingredients
*Coconut – 6 portions grated.
*Garlic – 10 cloves.
*Shallots – 15nos.
*Ginger – 1 big.
*Dried chilies – 4 nos.
*Pepper – 2 teaspoons.
*Coriander – 1 teaspoon.
*Curry leaves – 2 stems.
Method
1) Grate coconut.
2) Chop garlic, ginger, shallots, dried chilies.
3) Saute in the chopped ingredients, pepper, coriander, and curry leaves to the coconut.
4) In a heavy-based pan roast the mixed coconut mixture till it turns brown.
5) In the stone-grinder add in tamarind, salt, and the browned coconut and powder it.
