Ingredient
- Potato – 1KG (boiled and smashed)
- Onion – 4 (chopped)
- Green chili – 2
- Ginger – 1 Medium (finely chopped)
- Curry Leaf – 3 to 4 sprig (chopped)
- Besan flour – 400 gram
- Rice flour – 100 gram
- Chili Powder – 1 ½ Tsp
- Turmeric Powder – ½ Tsp
- Coconut oil – 1 Kg
- Salt for taste
Dough Preparation
Knead besan flour, rice flour, ½ tsp chili powder, ¼ tsp turmeric powder and salt with adequate
water to make the dough (make sure it is not too loose)
- Method
- Firstly, in a pan heat coconut oil, add mustard, chopped onion, green chili, ginger, curry leaf,
1 tsp chili powder, ¼ turmeric powder and sauté it well, also add salt for taste. - Then add the smashed potatoes to above and blend it well.
- Keep it aside till it’s cool and then make balls out of it using hands
- Ones the balls are prepared dip it in the dough and fry them in the coconut oil
- Serve it hot
