Chicken Chinthamani

Ingredients

  • Chicken – 1 kg
  • Dry red chilli – 8 to 9 nos
  • Shallots – 14 to 15 nos
  • Garlic – 10 to 11 nos
  • Curry leaves – 3 to 4 nos
  • Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1 or 2 tbsp

Method

  • Heat oil in a pan ,add dry red chilli
  • Saute them well.
  • Then add shallots and saute them well for few minutes.
  • Add garlic and saute them well.
  • Then add curry leaves and saute them well.
  • Then add cleaned chicken pieces,turmeric powder and salt .
  • Combine them well
  • Pour some water and mix them well.
  • Cover and cook till the chicken become well cooked.
  • Remove the lid and add water mix them well.
  • Cover and cook for some more times.
  • Remove the lid and wait until the chicken gravy starts to leave oil from its sides
  • Remove from fire and set aside.
