Kerala Style Instant Raw Mango Pickle


  • Raw mango-1 kg
  • Red chilli powder-1 tbsp
  • Fenugreek ppowder-1 spoon
  • Turmeric powder-1spoon
  • cumin seed-1 spoon
  • dry red chilli- 2 or 3 nos
  • curry leaves-2 or 3 sprig
  • Vinegar- 1 tbsp
  • Asafoetida -1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying


  • First we cut and clean the raw mangoes in to a bowl
  • Then we add red chilli,fenugreek powder,turmeric powder and salt,mix well .
  • Heat oil in a pan add mustard seed,fenugreek powder,cumin seed ,curry
  • leaves,vinigere and asafoetida mix well.
  • Then pour the mixture into the raw mango bowl then mix well.
  • Again we add asafoetida and fenugreek mix well,and transfer into the jar
  • Enjoy the taste of kerala style instant raw mango pickle
