Oil-free fish pollichathu (banana leaf-wrapped fish roast)

Ingredients

  • Big fish – 1 no.
  • Chili powder – 4 teaspoons.
  • Coriander powder – 4 teaspoons.
  • Pepper powder – 3 teaspoons.
  • Ginger – 1 no.
  • Garlic – 3 nos.
  • Salt to taste.

 Method

  • Clean the fish.
  • Prepare a paste with ginger, garlic, pepper powder, coriander powder, salt, and chili powder. Rub in the paste into the fish. Wrap it in banana leaf. Wrap in foil paper.
  • Heat a pan and place the foil on the pan. Cook both sides.
  • Tasty Fish pollichathu is ready.
