Pappadam chammanthi


  •  Papad – 6 (cut into small pieces)
  •  Shallots – 5
  •  Ginger – small piece
  •  Red Chilly – 5
  •  Grated coconut – 1/4 cup
  •  Curry leaves-3 sprigs
  •  Oil-for frying
  •  Salt to taste


  •  Heat oil in a pan,add small pieces of papad and fry it,keep it in a side
  •  At the same pan add dry red chilli, shallots, gingerand curry leaves ,
    saute for some minutes
  •  Then it cools,grind the sauted ingredients like dry red chilli ,shallots
    ginger ,curry leaves and grated coconut .into fine paste\
  •  Add the fried small piece pappadam and grind once more then mix
  •  Transfer to the bowel.and serve the tasty pappad chudney with meals.
