  • Dried prawns.
  • Coconut.
  • Shallots.
  • Green chilies.
  • Chili powder.
  • Coriander powder.
  • Garam masala.
  • Salt.
  • oil.
  • Mustard.Curry leaves


  • Roast the prawns.
  • Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard. Sautee in coconut bites, finely sliced shallot, green chili. Add curry leaves, chili powder, coriander powder, and prawns. Add water.
  • Roast 1/2 portion of the coconut, garam masala( cinnamon, star anise, fennel seed) and make a paste of both. Mix the paste with the prawn gravy. Season salt. When the gravy is thick remove from the flame.
  • Prawn theyal ready.
