Sardine Fish Curry With Tapioca

Ingredients

  • Sardine -1 kg
  • Shallots 8 to9nos
  • Green chilli -4 nos
  • Curry leaves-3 or 4 sprigs
  • Ginger – 1 nos
  • Garlic -5 or 6nos
  • Malabar tamarind- 3or4nos
  • Red chillipowder- 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  • Fenugreek powder – 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek seed – 1 tsp
  • Mustard seed – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1 or2 tsp
  • Oil- 2or3 tbsp

Method

  • Firstly we have cut and cleaned the sardine fishes ,set aside.
  • Then we have to crush ginger and garlic into fine paste set aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan add mustard seed and fenugreek seed ,lets them crackled.
  • Add shallots, green chilli , ginger garlic paste and curry leaves saute them well .
  • Add fine curry powders like red chilli powder , turmeric powder and fenugreek powder ,mix them
    well and cook for some mintes.
  • Then add some water ,soaked Malabar tamarind and salt ,then just twisted the curry pan with both
    hands and boil them well .
  • Add cleaned sardine fishes , cover and cook till the fish become well cooked.
  • Finally springle some salt and curry leaves.
  • Remove from fire and set aside.

Tapioca recipe.

Ingredients

  • Tapioca – 1 kg
  • Grated coconut- 1 kg
  • Garlic – 3 nos
  • Cumin seed – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  • Salt -1tsp

Method 

  • Firstly we have to peel, cut and chopped the tapioca.
  • Then wash and drain ,set aside.
  • Take a heavy bottom pan add water and chopped tapioca ,boiled them well.
  • Then drain excess water and set aside.
  • Then grind cumin seed,green chilli,garlic, grated coconut and turmeric powder into fine paste ,set
    aside.
  • Then add grinded coconut mix into boiled tapioca pan ,them mix them well with a neat spatula .
  • Serve the delicious tapioca recipe with sardine curry.
