Simple and tasty egg gravy

Ingredients

  • Egg – 5 nos
  • Onion – 2 nos
  • Green chilli – 2 nos
  • Curry leaves – 3 sprigs
  • Ginger – 1 medium
  • Garlic – 7 or 8 nos
  • Tomato – 1 nos
  • Cinnamon – 1 nos
  • Cardamom – 2 nos
  • Cloves – 2 nos
  • Red chilli powder – 1 ½ tsp
  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  • Pepper powder – 1 tsp
  • Garam masala – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1 or 2 tsp
  • Oil – 2 or 3 tbsp

Method

  • Take a pan add water and egg ,boil them well.
  • Then peel the boiled egg and keep aside.
  • Crush ginger and garlic into fine paste and set aside.
  • Then grind tomato into fine puree and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan add cinnamon,cardamom and cloves.
  • Add chopped onion,green chilli and curry leaves saute them well.
  • Add crushed ginger garlic paste and saute it well.
  • Add some curry masalas like red chilli powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder,pepper powder
    and garam masala , saute for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Then add tomato puree and water combine them well.
  • Add some salt and water cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Finally add boiled egg and mix it well.
  • Cook for 5 to 6 minutes and remove from fire.
  • Serve the tasty egg curry with appam.
