Ingredients
- Egg – 5 nos
- Onion – 2 nos
- Green chilli – 2 nos
- Curry leaves – 3 sprigs
- Ginger – 1 medium
- Garlic – 7 or 8 nos
- Tomato – 1 nos
- Cinnamon – 1 nos
- Cardamom – 2 nos
- Cloves – 2 nos
- Red chilli powder – 1 ½ tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Pepper powder – 1 tsp
- Garam masala – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1 or 2 tsp
- Oil – 2 or 3 tbsp
Method
- Take a pan add water and egg ,boil them well.
- Then peel the boiled egg and keep aside.
- Crush ginger and garlic into fine paste and set aside.
- Then grind tomato into fine puree and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan add cinnamon,cardamom and cloves.
- Add chopped onion,green chilli and curry leaves saute them well.
- Add crushed ginger garlic paste and saute it well.
- Add some curry masalas like red chilli powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder,pepper powder
and garam masala , saute for 3 to 4 minutes. - Then add tomato puree and water combine them well.
- Add some salt and water cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Finally add boiled egg and mix it well.
- Cook for 5 to 6 minutes and remove from fire.
- Serve the tasty egg curry with appam.
