Ingredients
- Soya chunks- 1/2 kg
- Onion – 2 or 3 nos
- Ginger – 1 nos
- Garlic – 8 or 9 nos
- Tomatoes – 2 nos
- Curry leaves – 3 or 4 sprigs
- Turmeric powder- 1/2 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
- Fennel seed powder – 1/2 tbsp
- Pepper powder – 1 tbsp
- Salt – 1 or 2 tbsp
- Oil – 1/2 ltr
Method
- Take a pan add water and salt heat them well.
- Then, into the hot water pan, add the cleaned soya.
- Then boil for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and set aside.
- Drain the boiled soya and put it in a bowl filled with cold water .
- Then squeeze the soya with your hands and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan,add chopped onion,ginger ,green chilli and garlic
- Saute till the raw smell disappears.
- Sauté the curry leaves and salt well.
- Add spices like turmeric powder,red chilli powder,coriander powder, fennel seed powder and pepper powder
- Sauté till the raw smell completely disappears.
- Add chopped tomatoes and saute till the tomatoes become soft.
- Then add cooked soya chunks and mix them well.
- Cover and Cook for 4 to 5 minutes
- Remove the lid ,saute and fry them well.
- Remove from fire and set it aside.
- Serve and enjoy the tasty fried soya chunks with meals.
