Ingredients
- Wheat flour – 1/2 kg
- Onion – 3 nos
- Potatoes – 2 or 3 nos
- Green chilli – 2 or 3 nos
- Pepper powder – 1 tbsp
- Cumin powder – 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – 1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 1/2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves – small hand full.
- Salt – 1 or 2 tsp
- Oil – 1 ltr
Method
- Take a pan. Add water and potatoes .
- Boil them thoroughly, then drain and set aside.
- Peel and smash them well; set them aside.
- Take a bowl add wheat flour, salt and coconut oil mix it well
- Add the water and then start mixing with your fingers.
- Mix the dough very well and keep a side.
- Take a pan add smash potatoes ,onion ,green chilli, salt
- Then add pepper powder, cumin powder ,turmeric powder ,red chilli powder combine them well.
- Then we take a small pieces of dough, place them on flat surface.
- Then flatten them further with the help of a rolling pin.
- Keep using the flour in order to prevent the rolls from sticking to the surface.
- Then we cut small sheets ,and stuff the potato mix and roll it well.
- Heat oil in a pan and add wheat snacks,
- Stir occasionally, frying the snacks on low flame for at least 12 to 15 minutes.
- Once the snacks turns golden and crisp, drain off over tissue paper.
- Enjoy the taste of crispy snacks with coffee or tea
