Tasty Kappa Biriyani

Beef cooking

Ingredients

  • Beef – 1 kg
  • Onion – 2 nos
  • Curry leaves – or 3 sprigs
  • Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  • Garm masala – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 3 to 4 tbsp

Method

  • Firstly ,we have to wash and clean the beef pieces and set them aside.
  • Take a pan and add cleaned beef and onion
  • Add curry leaves,turmeric powder,garam masala and salt .
  • Combine them well.
  • Then pour some water over it and mix it well.
  • Heat and cook them well.
  • Then remove the lid and check whether the beef is cooked through or not.
  • Ones the beef is well cooked .
  • Remove from fire and keep aside.

Tapioca cooking

Ingredients

  • Tapioca – 1 kg
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 or 2 tbsp

Method

  • Firstly we have to  peel  the tapioca and keep one side.
  • Take a pan add water and boil them well.
  • Then chopped the tapioca into small cubes and set aside.
  • Then wash the chopped tapioca two to three times
  • Set aside after draining.
  • Then, add the cleaned tapioca to the pan of boiled hot water.
  • Then add turmeric powder and salt and mix them well.
  • Cover and cook them well.
  • Remove the lid and please check when the tapioca pieces are getting cooked.
  • Do not overcook the tapioca.
  • Then drain all the water.
  • Them mix the boiled tapioca with a spatula

Tapioca biriyani masala making

Ingredients

  • Grated coconut – 1 cup
  • Green chilli – 3 to 4 nos
  • Oil – 3 or 4 tbsp

Method

  • Heat oil in a pan, add grated coconut, curry leaves and green chilli, mix them well.
  • Then saute and roasted them well.
  • Remove from fire and set aside.

Kappa biriyani final preparation

Ingredients

  • Onion – 2 to 3 nos
  • Curry leaves – 2 to 3 sprigs
  • Ginger – 1 nos
  • Garlic – 6 to 7 nos
  • Curry leaves – 2 or 3 sprigs
  • Coconut pieces – 1/2 cup
  • Dry red chilli – 3 or 4 nos
  • Turmeric powder- 1/2 tbsp
  • Fennel seed powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Garam masala – 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
  • Pepper powder – 1 tbsp
  • Dry red chilli – 3 or 4 nos
  • Curry leaves – 2 to 3 sprigs
  • Mustard seed – 1 tsp

Method

  • Firstly we have to crush ginger and garlic,set aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add the chopped onion and curry leaves
  • Sauté for a few seconds.
  • Then add crushed ginger garlic paste and saute them well
  • Add curry powders like turmeric powder, fennel powder,garam masala, red chilli powder,coriander powder and pepper powder .
  • Saute till the raw smell disappears.
  • Add cooked beef and combine them well
  • Pour some water and combine them well.
  • Cover and cook for 7 to 8 minutes
  • Remove the lid and stir them well.
  • Then add the boiled mashed tapioca to the beef masala pan
  • Combine them well.
  • Then add roasted coconut mix and combine them well.
  • Then cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Heat oil in pan ,add mustard seed lets them crackled.
  • Then add dry red chilli and curry leaves ,saute them well.
  • Add chopped coconut pieces and fry till they become light golden brown.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and pour the mixture into the beef biriyani pan.
  • Remove from fire and set aside
  • Serve and enjoy the tasty tapioca biriyani
