Aval laddu (Poha laddu)


  • Ghee
  • Cocunut- 1
  • Poha/Aval – 1
  • Jaggery- 1/2 kg
  • Cardomom- as needed
  • Cashew- as needed
  • Raisin – as needed


  • Heat a pan with ghee and dry roast aval till it become crunchy.
  • Heat another pan with ghee and saute cocunut until it gives a good smell.
  • Heat another pan with ghee and saute cashews and raisins.
  • Powder the aval.
  • Powder coconut, jaggery and cardomom.
  • Mix the powderd aval, coconut, jaggery, cardomom with ghee and make balls.
  • Tasty aval laddu ready..!
