Quick Snack Recipe –Beetroot Cutlet.

Ingredients

  • Beet root – 3 nos
  • Potato – 3 nos
  • Ginger – 1 medium
  • Garlic – 5 or 6 nos
  • Onion – 2 nos
  • Green chilli– 2 nos
  • Coriander leaf – small amount.
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala – 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Oil – for frying.

Method

  • First we have to boil the potatoes ,then peeled and mashed the potatoes ,set aside.
  • Then crush the ginger and garlic set aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan add chopped onion ,crushed ginger and garlic saute well.
  • Then add green chilli and chopped beetroot saute well for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Then add red chilli powder,garam masala ,turmeric powder and salt saute well.
  • Add mashed potatoes and mix them well.
  • Add some coriander leaves and saute for some time .
  • Remove from heat and transfer into a bowl .
  • Crush the rusk into powder and set aside.
  • Take a bowl add maida,salt and water mix them well into smooth paste.
  • Then we take small mixture of beetroot and prepare cutlets of desire size and shape.
  • Then the cutlets are in shape dip into maida mixture .
  • Then coated with rusk powder,set aside.
  • Heat oil in apan and place the beetroot cutlet and fry till they become golden brown
  • Then place them on a bowl and set aside
  • Serve and enjoy the taste of beetroot cutlet …
