Quick and tasty chicken fry / chicken chinthamani


  • Chicken- 1 kg boneless
  • Onion – 2 nos
  • Shallots – 20 nos
  • Dried red chilli – 10 to 12 nos
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – 2 tsp
  • Curry leaves


  • Today we’re going to prepare quick and tasty chicken chinthamani
  • For that first take some boneless chicken and cut in it in to small pieces and wash it and keep aside
  • Then peel onions and shallots
  • Then wash it and keep it aside
  • Now chop all the shallots and onion and keep it aside
  • Then take some dried red chilli and crush it , set it aside
  • Now heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onion and shallots then add salt and mix well stir it till the rawness is gone
  • Now add the crushed chilli powder and mix
  • Then add a teaspoon of salt again and stir it
  • Now add the chicken pieces and mix it well
  • Add curry leaves and mix again
  • Then add a little bit of water and mix it and close the pan and cook for few minutes
  • Then open the pan and mix again and stir
  • Cook it in low heat till it becomes dry
  • Check whether the chicken is cooked
  • Then remove the pan from fire and set it aside
  • Quick and tasty chicken fry is ready to serve
