Beans & Potato Masala Fry

Ingredients

  • Beans – 1/2 kg
  • Potato – 3 nos
  • Garlic – 9 to10 nos
  • Curry leaves – 3 or 4 sprigs
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Garam masala- 1/2 tbsp
  • Mustard seed – 1 tsp
  • Cumin seed – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 3 or 4 nos
  • Oil 3 or 4 tbs

Method

  • Firstly ,we have to peel and clean the beans.
  • Then we have to wash and drain and set them aside.
  • After that, chop into medium-sized pieces and set aside.
  • Then we have to peel and clean the potatoes.
  • Then we have to cut it into medium sized pieces
  • After that, thoroughly wash and drain them before setting them aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan ,add mustard seed and cumin seed ,let them splutter.
  • Then add chopped garlic ,saute them well.
  • Then we have to add chopped potato pieces and saute them well.
  • Then add some curry leaves and saute them well.
  • Then add long beans and saute them well.
  • Add some salt to taste and saute them well.
  • Then add some spices like red chilli powder ,coriander powder ,turmeric powder
  • Add some asafoetida powder,saute them well.
  • Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 5 to 6 minutes till the potatoes and beans are cooked .
  • Then sprinkle garam masala powder on top and combine them well.
  • Saute and fry them well.
  • Ones the fry is ready,remove from fire and keep a side
  • Serve the delicious fry with meals .
