Banana Flower Stir fry 

Ingredients

  • Banana bud – 1 nos
  • Green chilli – 1 or 2 nos
  • Garlic – 5 or 6 nos
  • Cumin seed – 1 tsp
  • Grated coconut – 1 cup
  • Turmeric powder – 1 /2 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Oil – 2 or 3 tsp

Method

  • At first, remove 2 to 3 outer layers of the banana bud.
  • Then, cut the banana flower into fine pieces and place them in a bowl.
  • Then crush the green chilli, garlic, and cumin seeds into a fine paste.
  • Again, add the grated coconut and turmeric powder to the coarse paste and set aside.
  • In a pan, heat the oil and add the mustard seeds, allowing them to sputter.
  • Add curry leaves and chopped banana flower buds.
  • Saute them well.
  • Then add some salt and mix them well.
  • Add a coarse coconut mixture and thoroughly combine.
  • Cover and cook them well.
  • Remove the lid and mix them well.
  • Then cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Remove the lid and mix them well.
  • After removing from the heat, set aside.

Fish Fry

Ingredients

  • Fish pieces – 1/2 kg
  • Ginger – 1 nos
  • Garlic – 7 to 8 nos
  • Curry leaves – 3 to 4 sprigs
  • Red chilli powder – 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Pepper powder – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 or 2 tsp
  • Oil – 2 or 3 tbsp

Method

  • Firstly, we have to grind red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garlic and ginger.
  • Again, add pepper powder, coriander powder and salt to make a smooth paste and set aside.
  • Take a pan. Add cleaned fish pieces.
  • Again, add the ground masala paste and mix them well.
  • Cover and marinate for half an hour.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan.
  • Add marinated fish pieces one by one.
  • Fry both sides with a few curry leaves on top.
  • set aside after draining.

Fish Fry

  • Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Pepper powder – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 or 2 tsp
  • Oil – 2 or 3 tbsp

Method

Beef fry

Ingredients

  • Beef – 1 kg
  • Onion – 2 or 3 nos
  • Ginger – 1 nos
  • Garlic – 11 to 12 nos
  • Green chilli – 2 or 3 nos
  • Red chilli powder – 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Pepper powder – 1 tbsp
  • Cinnamon – 1 or 2 nos
  • Cloves – 3 or 4 nos
  • Fennel seed – 1 tbsp
  • Cardamom – 2 or 3 nos
  • Coconut pieces – 1/2 cup
  • Salt – 1 or 2 tsp
  • Oil – 7 or 8 nos

Method

  • Take a pan add cleaned beef .
  • Then add some spices like red chilli powder ,coriander powder, turmeric powder,turmeric powder and salt.
  • Mix them well with fingers .
  • Then place the beef mix pan on the heat.
  • Cover and cook until the beef is well cooked.
  • Remove the lid and saute them well .
  • Then add some curry leaves .
  • Again cover and cook them well.
  • Then grind cinnamon ,cloves, fennel seed and cardamom into fine paste ,set aside.
  • Now add grinder smooth paste into the beef cooking pan
  • Again add some curry leaves and saute them well.
  • Cover and cook them well.
  • Remove the lid and check whether the beef is well cooked or not
  • Ones the beef is well cooked remove from fire and set aside
  • Heat oil in a pan add cloves cinnamon ,cloves and cardamom .
  • Then add coconut pieces ,crushed ginger garlic paste
  • Saute for few more minutes .
  • Add chopped onion and green chilli saute them well.
  • Sprinkle some salt and saute till the onion become transuland
  • Then add cooked beef mix and combine them well.
  • Then saute and fry till the beef become dark brown .
  • Remove from fire and set aside.
  • Serve the tasty beef fry with meals

Banana Erissery

Ingredients

  • Banana – 4 or 5 nos
  • Shallots – 14 to 15 nos
  • Garlic – 8 to 9 nos
  • Green chilli – 4 or 5 nos
  • Grated coconut – 1 cup
  • Cumin seed – 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves – 2 to 3 sprigs
  • Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  • Dry red chilli – 3 to 4 nos
  • Cumin seed – 1 tsp
  • Mustard seed – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1 or 2 tsp
  • Oil – 1 or 2 tsp

Method

  • Firstly, we have to peel the banana and set it aside.
  • The raw banana should then be cut into small pieces and set aside.
  • Take a pan add banana pieces and salt.
  • Then add turmeric powder and water and mix them well.
  • Then place the banana mix pan on fire.
  • Cover and cook them well.
  • Then grind the green chilli and cumin seeds into a fine paste.
  • Again, add grated coconut, turmeric powder, and shallots to make a smooth paste,set aside.
  • Then remove the lid and check whether the banana is cooked or not.
  • Roughly mash the cooked banana with a spatula.
  • Add the ground coconut paste mix to the pan.
  • Combine them well.
  • Then add some water and mix them well.
  • Add some salt and mix them well.
  • Cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Remove from fire and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, and allow them to sputter.
  • Add the dry red chillies and saute them well.
  • Then, add the shallots and saute for a few minutes.
  • Saute the grated coconut and curry leaves thoroughly.
  • Saute and roast them till they become a light golden brown.
  • Take the pan off the heat and pour the mixture into the banana cooking pan. Mix them well.
  • Serve the tasty banana erissery with hot meals.

Salad

Ingredients

  • Onion – 2 nos
  • Green chilli – 2 or 3 nos
  • Tomato- 1 nos
  • Curry leaves – 1 sprigs
  • Curd – 4 or 5 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 or 2 tsp

Method

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped onion and green chili.
  • Then add chopped tomatoes and salt.
  • Again, add thick curd and curry leaves.
  • Mix them well with a spatula.
  • Serve the tasty salad with a hot meal.
