- Jackfruit seed – 14 to 15 nos
- Mango – 2 nos
- Onion – 14 to 15 nos
- Shallots – 4 to 5 nos
- Garlic – 8 to 9 nos
- Green chilli – 2 to 3 nos
- Grated coconut – 1 cup
- Dry red chilli – 2 to 3 nos
- Cumin seed – 1 tsp
- Salt – 2 to 3 tsp
- Oil – 4 to 5 tbsp
- First we have to peel the jackfruit seed and set aside.
- Then peel the mango and set aside.
- Then chop the mango into small pieces and set aside.
- Wash them well and drain the mango pieces and jack fruit seed in to the cooking pan.
- Then add green chilli and shallots
- Then add turmeric powder, salt and water,mix them well
- Then place the curry pan on heat
Cover and cook them well.
- Then crush the green chilli, cumin seed, and garlic into a smooth paste.
- Again, add grated coconut ,turmeric powder and shallots to the coarse paste and set aside.
- Remove the lid and smash them well.
- Then add ground coconut paste ,mix them well.
- Add a sufficient amount of water and mix them well.
- Heat oil in a pan,add mustard seed and let them sputter
- Add dry red chillies and saute them well.
- Then add shallots, saute and fry them well.
- Remove from fire and pour the mixture into a mango curry pan,mix them well.
Serve the tasty jackfruit seed and mango curry with meals.
