*Raw rice – 2 glass.
*Urad dal – 1 glass.
*Salt to taste.
*Bird’s eye chilies
1)Soak urad dal and rice in water.
2)Once the urad dal and rice are soaked, grind to make a keep it for fermenting overnight. Once fermented season with salt.
3)Use a flat pan to do the dosa.
4)For the chutney, Make a paste of bird’s eye chilies, salt, and grated coconut. Heat a pan with oil, splutter mustard seeds, saute in shallots, dried chilies, and curry leaves. To the sauteed shallots add the paste with little water and bring it to boil. Remove from flame.
5)For the second chutney, make a paste of dried chilies, grated coconut, ginger, shallots, and salt. Heat a pan with coconut oil, splutter mustard seeds, saute in shallots, curry leaves, and dried chilies. Add in the paste with little water and bring it to boil. Remove from flame.
