Dry prawn recipe


  • Dry prawn -1/2 cup
  • Coconut oil-2 or 3 tbsp
  • Mustard seed -1 tsp
  • Onion-3 nos
  • Green chilli-2 nos
  • Ginger garlic paste-2 tbsp
  • Curry leaves -1 sprig
  • Chilli powder -1 tbsp
  • Turmeric-1/2 tsp
  • Fenugreek powder-1 tsp
  • Tomato-2 nos
  • Tamarind water -1/2 cup
  • Coconut milk- ½ cup
  • Salt to taste


  •  Heat a pan and add dry prawns and sauted some minutes,then we clean and
    wash ,keep a side
  •  Heat oil in a pan mustard seed saute till they crackle
  •  Add onion ,green chilli, ginger garlic paste ,and curry leaves, saute some
    minutes till the onion become light brown
  •  Then we add powders like chilli powder, turmeric powder, fenugreek powder
    and mix well
  •  Again we add tomato ,saute some minutes they turn soft and mashed .
  •  Add cleaned prawn and tamarind water mix well and add salt to taste ,cook
    for some minutes
  •  Then we add freshly thick coconut milk mix well and cook 5 or 10 minutes
  •  Turn off the flame and serve with meals
  •  Enjoy the meals.
