Ingredients
- Garlic-1/2 kg
- Mustard seed-2 tbsp
- Ginger-1 medium
- Green chilli-3
- Curry leaves-2 sprigs
- Chilli powder-2 tbsp
- Fenugreek powder-1 tbsp
- Asafoetida powder- 1 tbsp
- Vinegar-1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil for cooking
Method
- First we peel off the garlic and keep a side
- Then we heat oil in a pan add mustard seed and saute till they crackle
- Then we add garlic ,ginger and green chilli ,saute well
- Add curry leaves,red chilli powder and salt mix well and cook for some minutes
- Again we add fenugreek powder and asafoetida powder mix well
- Remove from the flame ,cool and store in a glass jar.
- Enjoy the taste of kerala style garlic pickle with meals
