Kerala style tuna fish curry

Ingredients

  • Tuna fish – 1 kg
  • Shallots – 20 to 25 nos
  • Ginger – 1 nos
  • Garlic – 10 to 12 nos
  • Green chilli – 3 nos
  • Curry leaves – 3 sprigs
  • Garcinia cambogia – 5 or 6 pieces
  • Pepper powder – 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder – 11/2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1 tbsp
  • Mustard seed – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1 or 2 tsp
  • Oil – 4 or 5 tbsp

Method

  • Firstly cut and wash the fish set a side
  • Then soak garcinia cambogia into small amount of water.
  • Heat oil in a pan add mustard seed ,let them crackled .
  • Add chopped shallots, ginger, garlic, green chilli and curry leaves saute them well .
  • Add red chilli powder,turmeric powder and water saute for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Then add soaked garcinia cambogia and salt ,boil them well.
  • Now we have to add cleaned fish pieces ,mix and cook till they fish become well cooked.
  • Removed the lid and add salt mix it well.
  • Finally add some coconut oil and curry leaves.
  • Remove from fire and set aside.
  • Serve and enjoy the kerala traditional style mean curry with tasty meals .
